Mkoko House is a small, privately run house. This page explains, simply, what happens to the information you send us.
What we receive
When you send a booking request through the availability calendar on our Book page, it is handled by our booking provider, Lodgify, which passes your name, contact details, dates and message on to us at mkokohouse@gmail.com. If you email us directly we receive whatever you choose to write, and if you write to us on WhatsApp we receive your message and your WhatsApp phone number.
What we do with it
We use it only to answer your question and, if you decide to stay, to arrange your visit. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what is needed to organise your stay. We keep booking and enquiry messages in our email and WhatsApp accounts for as long as they are useful, and delete them when they are not.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to count page visits, and only if you agree to it. When you first arrive you are asked; until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is measured. We do not use advertising or personalisation cookies at all. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Other services
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Airbnb and Tripadvisor lead to services run by other companies, with their own privacy terms.
